MEET DR Ogden

Meet Dr. Ogden

Dr. Ogden earned his DDS from Case Western Reserve University and finished his orthodontic residency at the University of Florida in 1994, the same year he opened the Clermont office. Windermere followed in 1995 and Mount Dora in 2006. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Florida Association of Orthodontists. Ogden Orthodontics is family owned, and Dr. Ogden is the only orthodontist you will see at any of the three offices, from the first consultation to the day the braces come off.

Braces & Invisalign Treatments We Offer

Every case is planned by Dr. Ogden, and the recommendation depends on your bite, not on what is easiest to sell. We offer traditional and self-ligating braces placed with indirect bonding, Invisalign for teens and adults, early treatment for kids who need it, and retainers to hold the result.

Plenty of offices in Central Florida can put brackets on teeth. The difference is who plans your case and who answers when something feels off at month nine. Here, that is Dr. Ogden, at every visit, at whichever office is closest to you. We are a family owned practice, we put the price in writing before you commit, and we reinvest in the Clermont, Windermere, and Mount Dora communities we have treated for three decades.

FAQ

Questions we hear the most

Plain answers to what most families want to know before their first visit.

How much do braces and Invisalign cost?

Invisalign is priced the same at all three offices: Touch-Up is $2,495 for minor movement that finishes in under six months, and Comprehensive is $4,895 with three refinements included. Braces are priced after the exam because the range is wider, and you get the number in writing at your free consultation before anything starts. In-house financing is 0% interest, so Comprehensive works out to about $204 a month over 24 months. See how Invisalign pricing works.

Which office should I go to?

Whichever is closest. Our Clermont orthodontist office on Citrus Tower Blvd serves Minneola, Groveland, Mascotte, Montverde, and Four Corners. Our Windermere orthodontist office on Maguire Rd serves Dr. Phillips, Horizon West, Winter Garden, Ocoee, and Gotha. Our Mount Dora orthodontist office on N Donnelly St serves Eustis, Tavares, Sorrento, Zellwood, and Apopka. Dr. Ogden treats patients at all three, so you can start at one and switch if you move or your schedule changes.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. Your first visit is a free consultation where you meet Dr. Ogden, get a full exam and a digital scan, and hear which options fit your case and your budget. You leave with a written price and no obligation to start. If you would rather not book a visit yet, you can send photos of your teeth for a free virtual consultation first.

Will you work with my insurance, and do you offer payment plans?

We work with most major dental plans, including Delta Dental, DeltaCare USA, Cigna, MetLife, United Healthcare, Ameritas, and The Standard, and our team checks your orthodontic benefit and files the claim for you. Whatever your plan does not cover can go on 0% in-house financing. We also offer military discounts. Bring your insurance details to the consultation and we will walk through the full number with you.

When should my child first see an orthodontist?

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first visit around age seven. By then most kids have a mix of baby and adult teeth, which lets Dr. Ogden catch problems with jaw growth or spacing while they are still easy to guide. Most kids do not need anything at that visit. Either way, you leave with a clear plan instead of guesswork.

Do you offer Invisalign, or only braces?

Both. Dr. Ogden plans every Invisalign case himself, and we also offer metal, clear ceramic, and self-ligating braces placed with indirect bonding. At your consultation he will tell you which one fits your bite and how noticeable you want treatment to be. Some smiles finish better in braces and others in aligners, and you will hear which one before you spend anything.

Can adults get braces or Invisalign?

Yes, and plenty do. About one in five orthodontic patients is an adult, and clear aligners and ceramic braces make treatment far less noticeable than it used to be. Teeth that shifted after braces years ago are often an Invisalign Touch-Up case at $2,495. Whether it is that or a bite issue that has bothered you since childhood, it is not too late to fix it.

Do I need a referral from my dentist?

No referral is required. You can schedule directly with any of the three offices, whether your dentist suggested orthodontic care or you noticed something on your own. We coordinate with your dentist during treatment so cleanings and checkups stay on track.
